Each year Stoneybatter Pride of Place raises €12,000 to insure, install, store and maintain the Christmas lights you see in the trees and across the street throughout the village.

Haunted House Decorating Competition
If you have got it, haunt it! Our ever-popular decorating competition is back with a Hallowe’en twist.
Tag @stoneybatterPOP on social media with your wicked window, devilish door or ghoulish garden and use the hashtag #spookybatter. The all-seeing judges will decide on the winner of Stoneybatter’s Hallowe’en Haunted House by 31st October.
Pawsitively Petrifiying Pet Parade
Eye of Newt or leg of frog show us your shapeshifting cat or dog! Share your dog/cat/gerbil/tortoises finest Hallowe’en fit on Instagram or Facebook and tag @stoneybatterPOP using the hashtag #spookybatter.
Hallowe’en Clean up (broomsticks at the ready!)
Saturday 28th October, 10am Outside the Church of the Holy Family
Witches and wizards will be provided with equipment (grabbers and bin bags!) to cast a sparkling spell across the whole area. Join afterward for a cuppa , treats and a piñata on the green.

Pumpkin painting. Non-toxic paints & stencils are provided, bring a pumpkin or buy one from Beechpark Eco Farm’s pumpkin patch. Suitable for all ages.
